Your Responsibilities

In the role of Payroll and Accounting Administrator, you will primarily handle our payroll administration, where we currently outsource parts of the payroll processing to an external party. Furthermore, you will manage all aspects of accounts payable, which includes mail handling, scanning, and coding. The role will also include other administrative tasks as well as some office services. Your immediate supervisor is Eva, our CFO. We believe you can start with us in May or June. The position is a permanent employment and located in Umeå.

Your Profile

To thrive and succeed with us, you are structured, meticulous, and have a strong service focus. You are unpretentious and have good integrity, as some tasks are of a sensitive nature. You are responsible, work independently when needed, and enjoy collaborating with others. We are looking for someone with a few years of documented experience in payroll management and financial administration. Your educational background is not the most important, but if you have a degree in finance from a university or a YH diploma in accounting, it is an advantage. We operate in an international market, so it is beneficial if you can express yourself in English – although fluent Swedish in both speech and writing is sufficient for everyday tasks.

At Nordic Biomarker, we use a recognized tool for job evaluation, salary mapping, and salary setting. Nordic Biomarker is covered by the collective agreement between IKEM, Unionen, Sveriges Ingenjörer/Naturvetarna, and Ledarna, which means that salary setting is individual and differentiated. This means, among other things, that the final salary is set with consideration to the applicant's previous work experience and competence. For this position, the starting salary is between 33,000 – 41,000 SEK per month.
